STUDENT NEWSPAPER PLANS REUNION

LAWRENCE -- The University Daily Kansan, the University of Kansas' 110-year-old student newspaper, is inviting all former editorial and business staff members for a reunion Oct. 2 during Homecoming weekend.

Returning staff members may visit the Kansan's newsroom in Stauffer-Flint Hall Friday evening, Oct. 1, and from 8 a.m. until an hour before the KU-Southern Methodist University football game on Oct. 2. A catered reunion buffet is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Alumni Center. Cost is $40. Advance reservations and payment are required.

A Friday night pub gathering also is being planned.

The Kansan has received about 100 reservations so far, said Tom Eblen, Kansan general manager.
