STUDENTS HONOR 58 FOR TEACHING EXCELLENCE

LAWRENCE -- Fifty-eight faculty members at the University of Kansas were honored by their students for excellence in the classroom.

Two graduate students from each department presented the honors at the second annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet, sponsored by KU's Center for Teaching Excellence, last week on the KU campus. About 200 people attended, including Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway and Provost David E. Shulenburger.
