KU MUSEUMS TO SPONSOR FOOD DRIVE

LAWRENCE -- The museum shops of the University of Kansas Natural History Museum and Museum of Anthropology have joined to sponsor a food drive from Nov. 14 to 24. Donations of two or more canned goods will be rewarded with a 10 percent discount on any non-sale merchandise in the museum shops. On Nov. 29, 1999, collected donations will be given to Penn House in Lawrence for use and distribution. This drive is the beginning of many promotional events by KU Museums for the holiday season.
