LAWRENCE -- The University of Kansas Student Union Activities organization recently announced the names of students selected to serve as the 1999-2000 SUA officers and board coordinators. Cameron Popp, Hutchinson junior, is president.
SUA officers and board coordinators work with other students to coordinate indoor and outdoor recreation programs, film and speaker series and student travel packages.
Outgoing president Kielyn Scott, Wichita senior, and other 1998-1999 officers worked with KU Memorial Corp., which manages the Burge and Kansas unions, to select the 1999-2000 board. New officers were installed at the SUA board meeting in May.
