KU museum shops have spring sales

LAWRENCE--The KU Museum of Anthropology is having a spring book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 27 and 28. Proceeds will benefit the museum's research library, which serves as a supplement to its ethnographic and archeological collections. Book selections include such topics as human evolution, sociology, psychology, cultural anthropology, linguistics and Native American studies. Prices range from $1 to $10.

Friday, April 28, the KU museum shops will join the book sale during their semiannual joint sidewalk sale from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The museum shops at the Natural History Museum and Spencer Museum of Art will join the Museum of Anthropology in their sales of children's novelties, books, t-shirts, cards and accessories.
