Some of the nation's leading researchers in medicinal chemistry will meet in Kansas City this week for a symposium sponsored by the University of Kansas.
The 27th National Medicinal Chemistry Symposium kicks off this morning at Crown Center and continues until Saturday, June 17.
Highlights include a look at recent developments in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, approaches to solving multiple antibiotic resistance problems and a lecture titled "Natural Products and Nature's Lesson."
