Some of the artists will also be demonstrating their art form. Entertainment will be scheduled throughout the day.

The Lawrence Indian Arts Show creates an opportunity for the public to view and gain an appreciation of works currently being produced by American Indian artists. In both the juried competition and the market, the public will have the opportunity to view the talents and skills of these artists in baskets, beadwork and quillwork, jewelry, kachina dolls and other wood carvings, pottery, sculpture, textiles, paintings, drawings, and graphics. Many new artists are involved in this year's juried competition and market.
