OVERLAND PARK -- In an effort to give people an opportunity to more broadly understand the issues and dynamics of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, the University of Kansas Edwards Campus, 12600 Quivira, is offering a series of community forums focusing on the religious, political, economic and psychological implications and repercussions of the attacks.
KU's world-class faculty members will bring their expertise to our community in the form of presentations and dialogues.
"An important part of KU's commitment to greater Kansas City is to offer programs, such as these forums, to enlighten and educate," says Bob Clark, vice chancellor for the Edwards Campus. "We encourage anyone interested to come and spend the morning with us."
The community forums are open to the public at no cost. All forums take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the KU Edwards Campus, room 210, in October and November.
