WHAT: Leading telecommunications industry executives and analysts will participate in a sold-out University of Kansas conference on telecom finance and restructuring.
WHEN/WHERE: Media availability at 11 a.m.; closed conference starts at noon Friday, April 19, at the DoubleTree Hotel Overland Park, U.S. 69 and College Boulevard.
WHO: Edward E. Whitacre Jr., chairman of the board and CEO of SBC Communications Inc., will kick off the conference with a keynote address.
Following the speech, roundtable discussions will feature:

The conference is sponsored by the KU Center for Management Education. Costs of the program were partially underwritten by Ken Wagnon through his generous gift to the KU School of Business. More than 200 paid registrants are expected to attend.
