"Day on the Hill" postponed until next weekend

LAWRENCE -- Student Union Activities announced today that it is postponing its outdoor music festival, "Day on the Hill," due to several forecasts predicting severe weather for Saturday.

"Day on the Hill" now will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 4. The festival also is changing its location to Lot 91, southeast of Memorial Stadium.

Acts for the performance will be confirmed on Monday.

The annual event is free and open to the public.
