LAWRENCE -- More than 1,320 students completed degree work at the University of Kansas during the fall 2001 semester, according to KU's Office of the Provost.
Graduate and undergraduate degrees were awarded in December on the basis of work completed during the fall semester.
Because KU conducts only one formal commencement ceremony each year, many of these graduates will return for commencement exercises May 19.
The names of graduates are no longer available online. For degree verification, please visit the Office of the Registrar or contact the National Student Clearinghouse at (702) 742-4200. There is a retrieval fee.
KU offers about 75 undergraduate and 165 graduate degrees. To facilitate listing of degrees, abbreviations for the more common ones are used with the major or majors when applicable.
