LAWRENCE -- The Lied Center of Kansas Family Series and Security Benefit Group present Squonk in 'Bigsmorgasbordwunderwerk' at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
This 11-member group uses light and shadows, hypnotic music, inventive puppetry, humor, dance, and stirring visual effects to weave its surreal experience. Squonk Opera has gone from junkyards to Broadway.

Lied Center facilities, parking and front-of-house staff are fully prepared to accommodate patrons with special needs. The Lied Center has barrier-free entrances, and wheelchair locations are available on all levels of the performance hall. Free headsets are available for people requiring hearing-assistance or audio-description devices. Please show photo identification when reserving the headset. Braille and larger-print programs are also available. Please contact our ticket office at least two weeks before the event to make arrangements for these special programs.
