KU jazz ensembles to perform at Lied Center Feb. 12

LAWRENCE -- Two popular University of Kansas student ensembles, KU Jazz Ensemble I and KU Jazz Singers, perform together at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Lied Center of Kansas.

Under the direction of Dan Gailey, associate professor and director of jazz studies, the Jazz Singers kick off the evening. After intermission, Jazz Ensemble I takes the stage.

Admission to the KU Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Singers Concert at the Lied Center is $7 general, $5 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the Lied Center, (785) 864-ARTS; Murphy Hall, (785) 864-3982; and SUA, (785) 864-3477.
