MEDIA ADVISORY: Sen. Pat Roberts to be honored at KU by world's largest scientific society

WHAT: Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) will be honored by the local chapter of the American Chemical Society.
The ACS, the world's largest scientific society, will present Roberts with the Public Service Award for his contributions to advancement of scientific research and policy, as well as the strengthening of K-12 science education and math and science teaching.

WHEN: 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18th.

WHERE: The Bruckmiller Room in the Adams Alumni Center, on the University of Kansas campus.

Parking is available at the parking garage just north of the Kansas Union.
