LAWRENCE -- The University of Kansas Small Business Center will offer a seminar on starting and managing your own business at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at 734 Vermont St. The seminar costs $25.
Topics include business planning, financing, marketing, legal issues, licensing, cash flow and profits. New and future business owners are encouraged to attend. Lori Kravets, Small Business Center consultant, will conduct the seminar.
The "Starting and Managing Your Own Business" seminar is part of a series of small business seminars that the KU Small Business Development Center will offer this spring. Future seminars will focus on attracting clients, planning for taxes, obtaining loans and maximizing cash.
