Statement by Chancellor Hemenway on graduate student's death

Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway made the following statement in response to the death of Natalie S. Young, a University of Kansas graduate student in educational leadership and policy from Grandview, Mo. Ms. Young died June 29 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

"Ms. Young was a talented graduate student who also had worked tirelessly as a school administrator committed to improving the quality of education. On behalf of the entire KU community, I would like to express my deep sadness at the word of her death. We offer our condolences to her family and friends."
