KU admissions counselors visiting students in 94 high schools in October

LAWRENCE -- During the month of October, admissions counselors from the University of Kansas will visit with students in 94 high schools in Kansas and other states.

From Oct. 8 to 15, KU admissions counselors visited 35 high schools located in Leavenworth, Jefferson, Lyon, Shawnee, Wabaunsee and Wyandotte counties and to high schools in Colorado and Missouri.

Later this month KU counselors will visit high schools in the following counties: Anderson, Barton, Douglas, Franklin, Harper, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Kingman, Linn, McPherson, Pottawatomie, Osage, Reno, Rice, Sedgwick, Stafford and Wyandotte. Local high school counselors will have information on when a KU visit is scheduled.

Counselors also will visit high schools in Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska.
