KU Wind Ensemble to debut Oct. 7 at Lied Center

LAWRENCE -- Twentieth-century American music is the theme for the debut performance of the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, under the direction of John Lynch, the new director of bands at KU, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at the Lied Center of Kansas.

Greta Pope, a soprano from Chicago, and John Stephens, professor of music and dance at KU, will be guest vocalists.
