KU announces change to new teaching professorship lecture date

LAWRENCE -- The date of the inaugural lecture for the new Gene A. Budig Teaching Professorship in Special Education has been changed to March 6.

As originally scheduled the lecture will be at 4:30 p.m. in 150 Joseph R. Pearson Hall at the University of Kansas.

Gary Clark, KU professor of special education and first recipient of the award, will deliver the lecture. The professorship was established by former KU Chancellor Gene A. Budig and his wife, Gretchen, to honor a special education faculty member who demonstrates excellent teaching skills in the classroom.
