LAWRENCE -- Sororities at the University of Kansas have pledged 570 women during 2003 fall formal recruitment, the KU Panhellenic Association has announced.
More than 785 women took part in recruitment, and all 13 sororities in KU's Panhellenic Association added members through recruitment. Membership bids were extended to women who completed the recruitment process.
The names of new members, their hometowns and their sororities are available online.
Kansas counties and other states listed include: Allen, Barton, Butler, Cherokee, Crawford, Dickinson, Doniphan, Douglas, Ellis, Finney, Ford, Franklin, Geary, Greenwood, Hamilton, Harvey, Haskell, Jefferson, Jewell, Johnson, Kingman, Labette, Leavenworth, Lyon, Marion, McPherson, Miami, Montgomery, Nemaha, Neosho, Ottawa, Pawnee, Reno, Rice, Riley, Rooks, Saline, Scott, Sedgwick, Shawnee, Sherman, Smith, Stevens, Sumner and Wyandotte; Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
