LAWRENCE -- The University of Kansas Chamber Choir and Random Harmony, an award-winning barbershop quartet made up of KU students, will perform at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at the Douglass High School auditorium in Douglass.

The Chamber Choir is the premier choral ensemble in the Department of Music and Dance at KU. The 38 members are primarily vocal and choral music majors enrolled in undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. The choir also has toured extensively throughout the United States, South America and Europe.
Random Harmony was founded in November 2000 by Olathe senior Shaun Whisler, bass, and Perry senior Michael Brown, baritone. With Eudora senior Josh Abel, tenor, and lead and Douglass senior Dustin Peterson, the group has performed throughout the Midwest to critical acclaim. They have competed at the international and regional levels of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America.
