KU business school to hold career fair Sept. 18 in Kansas Union

LAWRENCE -- The annual University of Kansas School of Business career fair will be from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Kansas Union ballroom. This annual event brings together KU students and potential employers from throughout the Midwest and beyond.

All students may attend the fair, which also is open to KU alumni and residents of surrounding communities.

Jennifer Jordan, director of career services for the business school, said about 85 organizations will be represented at this yearÿs fair. The career fair is a means by which large numbers of students can gain knowledge about a wide range of companies before the beginning of the recruiting season, which launches Oct. 1. The fair is sponsored by the KU School of Business Career Services Center. Corporate sponsors include Philip Morris USA, California Casualty, Farmers Insurance, Grant Thornton, Progressive, State Street and Werner Enterprises.
