Roadwork to Lilac Lane scheduled for Aug. 10

LAWRENCE -- Lilac Lane at the University of Kansas will undergo roadwork on Aug. 10 in preparation for an asphalt overlay.

The roadwork includes all of Lilac Lane from Jayhawk Boulevard south, including the traffic circles in front of Blake Hall and Twente Hall. Parking will not be allowed on Lilac Lane during during this time.

Parking lots adjacent to Lilac Lane will be not be affected, but access to and from the lots may be delayed because of machinery blocking the lot entrances. Facilities Operations advises faculty and staff to make other parking arrangements on Aug. 10 to avoid delays.

Emergency traffic will not be restricted, but service vehicles are discouraged from using the area.
