KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurse anesthetists and critical care nurses will gather at the Fairmont Hotel, 401 Ward Pkwy., in Kansas City, Mo., April 2 through 4 for the 54th annual Postgraduate Symposium on Anesthesiology.
The event is sponsored by the University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology and University Outreach and Continuing Education at KU.
The symposium will present a comprehensive update on patient evaluation, diagnostic tests, anesthetic agents and other drugs, and technical procedures of importance in the practice of anesthesia and critical care medicine.
Topics will include management of patients with cardiac disease, placement of neuraxial blocks, anesthesia for assisted reproductive technologies, Cesarean delivery and new frontiers in analgesia.
