Chancellor's statement on death of KU student from Olathe

University of Kansas Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway made the following statement today in response to the death of 19-year-old Laura A. Geraghty of Olathe. She had planned to attend the University of Kansas this fall. She died July 16 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

"Our hearts go out to the parents, brother and sister, family and friends of Laura Geraghty. On behalf of the entire University of Kansas community, I offer our deepest condolences."
