LAWRENCE -- The University of Kansas men's ultimate Frisbee club has qualified for the Ultimate Players Association's College Championships, which will take place in Burlington, Wash., May 28 through 30.
The KU team is among 16 finalists who qualified for the tournament. This is the club's first bid to nationals since 1999 and the second in the club's 22 years of existence.
To qualify for nationals, the KU Frisbee team won the South regional tournament in Little Rock, Ark., May 1 and 2.
