KU's Technology Transfer Office to help host 2004 Technology Showcase

LAWRENCE -- The Technology, Transfer and Intellectual Property Office at the University of Kansas will co-sponsor the 2004 Lawrence Technology Showcase: A Community of Innovation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Lawrence Holiday Inn Convention Center, 200 McDonald Drive.

The invitation-only event will draw together many of the Lawrence groups involved in developing innovative ideas into successful businesses, creating new products and services, and increasing economic growth for the region.

More than 30 exhibitors will represent a variety of high-technology businesses in the Lawrence area, including start-up companies created from KU technologies and KU inventors.

The Lawrence Regional Technology Center and the Lawrence Technology Association also are sponsoring this event.
