LAWRENCE -- In an effort to capture the fall beauty of the University of Kansas, KU photographers and videographers will shoot aerial views of the campus Saturday afternoon from two helicopters.
The Office of University Relations is coordinating two shoots. The first, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is for still photography; the second, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., is for video.
Doug Koch, University Relations photography coordinator, and Frank Barthell, University Relations electronic media coordinator, are overseeing the shoots.
In case of rain, one flight will be moved to 2:30-6:30 p.m Sunday, Oct. 24; and another will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
The two flights will be conducted within Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
