LAWRENCE -- Kansas Public Radio at the University of Kansas has announced a new schedule for Sunday afternoons starting Sept. 5.
Morning program times are unaffected. The new afternoon schedule:
Noon-1 p.m.: "Car Talk," with Tom and Ray Magliozzi
1-7 p.m.: "Trail Mix," Celtic, folk and bluegrass with KPR˙s Bob McWilliams
7-8 p.m.: "The Thistle and Shamrock," Celtic music with Fiona Ritchie
8-9 p.m.: "The American Past," hosted by KU distinguished professor emeritus of journalism Calder Pickett
9-9:30 pm.: "My Word," a BBC game of word play
9:30-11 p.m.: "Pipedreams," organ music from the world˙s cathedrals and concert halls.
11 p.m.-midnight: "Hearts of Space," meditative instrumental music
Midnight-5 a.m.: "Jazz in the Night," with Bob Parlocha
Kansas Public Radio at KU includes KANU 91.5-FM in Lawrence; KANH 89.7-FM in Emporia; and KANV 91.3-FM in Olsburg-Junction City; and on the Web at http://kpr.ku.edu.
