Chancellor's statement on death of incoming freshman from Moundridge
Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway made the following statement in response to the death in July of 18-year-old Matt Yost of Moundridge. He had planned to attend the University of Kansas this fall as a freshman. Services for Mr. Yost were held July 29 in Hesston.
"Our hearts go out to the parents, brother, sister, family and friends of Matt Yost, who was so full of promise. On behalf of the entire University of Kansas community, I offer our deepest condolences."
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
