Final Kemper Award for 2005 given to School of Nursing associate professor
LAWRENCE -- School of Nursing associate professor Cynthia Teel is the final recipient of a $5,000 Kemper Award, given to recognize excellence in teaching and advising.
Teel has spent the past 12 years teaching at KU. During that time, she has helped many future nurses learn about the intricacies of the profession. Teel has been able to take some of the most complicated subjects in nursing and make them enjoyable and understandable to her students. She makes herself available to meet with students regularly so that they can seek advice and be better prepared for life in the medical field.
In all 20 professors received Kemper Awards and $100,000 was distributed.
