Midwestern Music Camp
LAWRENCE — The following is a list of University of Kansas 2006 summer academic and athletic camps:
ACADEMIC
DUKE UNIVERSITY TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM

FRESHMAN SUMMER INSTITUTE
Four-week academic and residential program aimed at newly admitted KU freshmen. Students take five credits of coursework and live in the residence halls. June 4-30 and July 2-28. Kansas residents: $2,100; out-of-state residents: $3,500. Apply online at www.advising.ku.edu/fsi. Applications are due by May 1.
HEALTH CAREERS PATHWAYS PROGRAM
For high school seniors and college undergraduates from disadvantaged or minority backgrounds who are interested in becoming physicians. June 5-July 28. JAYHAWK DEBATE INSTITUTE

MATH AND SCIENCE CENTER
The Non-Bridge Summer Institute is for rising high school freshmen to rising high school seniors from Shawnee, Douglas and Wyandotte counties. These students are from low-income backgrounds and/or potential first-generation college students who are interested in pursuing a career in the math or science fields. June 4-July 14. The Bridge Summer Institute is for incoming college freshmen. Students take six credit hours of coursework and live in the residence halls.
