Hawk Talk invites Kansas high school students to informational KU receptions
LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas Office of Admissions and Scholarships is inviting high school students from across the state to Hawk Talk receptions that will include information and prizes.
The event will provide students an opportunity to learn more about KU. Representatives from KU’s professional schools and other offices will be on hand to answer questions and give information about various departments at KU. Refreshments will be provided. Those in attendance will be eligible for door prizes.
Upcoming Hawk Talk receptions are planned for:
Feb. 21: Leavenworth, 6:30-8 p.m., Riverfront Community and Convention Center
Feb. 21: Hutchinson, 6:30-8 p.m., Kansas Cosmosphere
Feb. 22: Johnson County (seniors), 7-9 p.m., Regnier Hall on Edwards Campus in Overland Park
Feb. 28: Parsons, 6:30-8 p.m., Labette Bank
Feb. 28: Dodge City, 6:30-8 p.m., Boot Hill Museum
March 1: Liberal, 6:30-8 p.m., Mid-America Air Museum
March 1: Salina, 6:30-8 p.m., The City
March 2: Emporia, 6:30-8 p.m., Ramada Inn
