Media advisory: Historians to gather at KU to discuss recent history of foreign relations
WHO: The Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
WHAT: The society’s annual meeting. Discussion topics include American-Shiite relations in post-Baath Iraq with Juan Cole, a professor at the University of Michigan; a 9/11 historical perspective; and the United States’ involvement in Saudi Arabian oil. WHERE: Dole Institute for Politics, Adams Alumni Center and Kansas Union, all at KU.
