KU School of Social Welfare plans Career Carnival on Oct. 27

LAWRENCE — The School of Social Welfare of the University of Kansas will host a Career Carnival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the Kansas Union Ballroom.

Social welfare students and those interested in related fields can discuss educational programs and potential job opportunities with representatives of social service agencies throughout Kansas.

In addition, admissions personnel from KU’s programs for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in social work will be available to meet with prospective students.

University Career Center staff will also be on hand to offer special job search workshops geared specifically for graduating students.
