Flyover to take place Saturday before KU homecoming football game
LAWRENCE — A United States Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter will fly over Memorial Stadium at the University of Kansas on Saturday, minutes before the 11 a.m. homecoming football game.
The Blackhawk helicopter will fly over the stadium after the national anthem is played. The event has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
In conjunction with the flyover, Kansas Army National Guard and KU Army ROTC representatives will host a display outside of Memorial Stadium.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
