Select KU offices to have extended hours as fall semester begins
LAWRENCE — Some offices at the University of Kansas will offer extended hours Monday, Aug. 13, through Thursday, Aug. 16, to accommodate new and returning students during the first week of the fall semester.
The extended hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Normal office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, KU Info will have information tables in the Strong Hall rotunda and in front of Wescoe Hall and Watson Library from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 16 and 17. KU staff and faculty volunteers will be on hand to provide assistance and directions. The main KU Info desk in the Kansas Union will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the first week of the semester, known as Hawk Week. Classes start Aug. 16.
