Office of Admissions and Scholarships announces Hawk Talk reception dates

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas Office of Admissions and Scholarships is inviting high school students from across the state to Hawk Talk receptions that will include information and prizes.

The events will provide students an opportunity to learn more about KU. Representatives from KU’s admissions office will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about various schools and departments at KU. Refreshments will be provided. Those in attendance will be eligible for door prizes. Receptions in Wichita, Johnson County and Lawrence will have representatives from academic and Student Success units as well as admissions representatives.

Upcoming Hawk Talk receptions are planned for:

— Colby: 6:30-8 p.m. April 11, City Limits Bar & Grill, 2227 South Range
— Dodge City: 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 28, Boot Hill Museum, 500 Wyatt Earp
— Emporia: 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 12, Godfather’s Pizza, 1120 Commercial
— Garden City: 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 27, Garden City High School, 1412 N. Main St.
