KU provost issues statement on death of Facilities Operations employee

LAWRENCE — University of Kansas Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Richard Lariviere made the following statement today in response to the death of Antonio Miller, a Facilities Operations employee at KU. Miller, 19, died at his home Dec. 31.

“Our hearts go out to the Miller family for this tragic loss. On behalf of the entire KU community, I offer our deepest condolences to Antonio’s family and friends.”

Miller was the son of Kenneth Miller, who also works for Facilities Operations, and Patricia Pliler, a former KU employee.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
