KU chancellor issues statement on death of student John Kleine

LAWRENCE — University of Kansas Chancellor Robert Hemenway offered his condolences today to the family of John Kleine, a Prairie Village junior who died at his home April 30. Kleine, 21, was an economics major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

“On behalf of the KU community, I want to express profound sorrow at the death of John Kleine,” Hemenway said. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends on this tragic loss.”
