Chancellor issues statement of death of KU student Aaron Caldwell

LAWRENCE — University of Kansas Chancellor Robert Hemenway issued the following statement today after the death of KU student Aaron Caldwell. Caldwell, a senior in economics from Bedford, Texas, was found dead in his off-campus apartment Nov. 11. Although no cause of death has been determined, foul play is not suspected. Services are pending.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of Aaron Caldwell. On behalf of the entire University of Kansas community, I offer condolences on this untimely loss of such a promising young man.”
