International Programs sponsors panel discussion about Pakistan
LAWRENCE — A panel discussion of the turbulent situation in Pakistan will take place this week at the University of Kansas.
“Turmoil in Pakistan: What are the Options?” will start at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Jayhawk Room in the Kansas Union.
Speakers are: Elif Andac, assistant professor of sociology; Rauf Arif, Pakistani Fulbright scholar in journalism; Huma Khan, Pakistani graduate student in international studies; Bill Lambert, assistant professor in the Department of Joint and Multinational Operations at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth; and Tom Wilhelm, director, foreign military studies, Fort Leavenworth.
The public program is sponsored by International Programs and is part of International Education Week.
