Saturday’s football game to feature flyover by Black Hawk helicopters
LAWRENCE — Two U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters will fly over Memorial Stadium at the University of Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 17, minutes before the football game against Iowa State University. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The event has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The flight crew is comprised of members of the Kansas Army National Guard. They have recently returned from Iraq.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
