ROTC to conduct training exercises
LAWRENCE — About 50 University of Kansas Army ROTC students will participate in a leadership lab “escape and evade” training exercise from 2:30 to 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in wooded areas on west campus.
The ROTC cadets will be dressed in Army combat uniforms. This is a regular training exercise that simulates a situation in which troops are behind enemy lines and must work undercover to return to friendly territory.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
