Rumor control notice

This is to inform you of misinformation that is presently spreading over campus in regards to the spray painting of today’s date on sidewalks outside Lewis Hall.

The KU Office of Public Safety has investigated and determined that the spray painting has no relation to a previous incident at Lewis Hall and actually is promoting a band that is releasing a CD today. Police have investigated and have determined there is no threat to public safety.

Please inform your classes and colleagues of  this information so that everyone has the correct information.
