KU hosts annual career fair for future educators
LAWRENCE — The University Career Center at the University of Kansas is sponsoring the eighth annual Education Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Kansas Union ballroom.
Representatives from more than 65 school districts and organizations in eight states are scheduled to attend. Metropolitan areas from outside Kansas and Missouri represented will be San Francisco; Denver; Phoenix; Vancouver, Wash.; Lincoln, Neb.; and Tampa and Palm Beach, Fla.
Candidates in all areas of pre-kindergarten through high school education may attend the fair, including those in administration; speech pathology; physical therapy; occupational therapy; social work; school psychology; counseling; and elementary, secondary and special education teaching. Candidates do not need to pre-register, and attendance is free.
