REVISED Media advisory: Press conference for Valerie Plame

WHO: Valerie Plame Wilson, the former CIA officer whose identity was disclosed in 2003, will address the 21st annual Media and the Law Seminar — “Fourth Estate or Fifth Wheel: Government Curbs on Free Speech” — in Kansas City, Mo.

WHAT: Plame Wilson will meet with local media prior to her appearance at the seminar, sponsored by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the University of Kansas.

WHEN: 1:15 to 1:35 p.m. Friday, April 18

WHERE: InterContinental Kansas City Hotel at the Plaza, Room 341. Upon arrival, ask front desk for directions.

NOTE: A previously scheduled press conference with Judith Miller on Friday has been canceled. She will still be at the seminar.
