Area middle, high school students enroll in Duke TIP Scholar Weekend at KU

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas is hosting the Duke University Talent Identification Program Scholar Weekend April 26-27.

The event will offer students in grades 8-11 intensive courses taught by KU faculty and graduate instructors. The program will challenge students academically while giving them a taste of university life.

— Varieties of Human Experience: Intro to Cultural Anthropology

The participants will arrive on campus Saturday morning; take part in class work all day Saturday; spend the night in the Lawrence Holiday Inn Express, supervised by resident counselors; and return to campus Sunday for a full class day.
