Rep. Tiahrt Statement congratulating KU on its National Championship Win

WASHINGTON-- U.S. Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Goddard) today issued the following statement following the University of Kansas' win over the University of Memphis.

"The Kansas Jayhawks unleashed their outstanding talent and displayed superb teamwork by winning the national championship," said Tiahrt. "I send my congratulations to Head Coach Bill Self, the entire coaching staff and the players who proved they could go to the top.

"The competition was intense and packed with suspense until the end. This will be a game long remembered. I congratulate the University of Kansas for its well-deserved national championship win."
