KU gears up for summer by announcing camps lineup, updating Web site

LAWRENCE — This summer, the University of Kansas again will offer a variety of academic and athletic camps for children of all ages.

A list of all summer camps, along with links to their respective sites, can be found at KU’s updated and redesigned camps Web site.

The camps list also appears in What To Do At KU, a colorful printed calendar dedicated to events taking place on the Lawrence campus in spring 2008. This glossy publication will be inserted in the Lawrence Journal-World on Thursday, Feb. 14, and can be picked up after that date at several spots around town. On-campus locations include the KU Visitor Center, the Kansas and Burge unions, museums and theaters. Off-campus locations include the Lawrence Visitor Information Center, the Lawrence Public Library, retirement homes and hotels.

Below is the most up-to-date camps listing. All camps take place on the Lawrence campus unless otherwise noted. Check the camps Web site for updates.
